I recently bought an Philips HTS6500 htib audio system and when i use it to play DVD the speakers works but when im watching regular cable TV or playing the PS3, the sounds doesnt come out.

is there any way for everything to intertwine with my speakers to produce sound for all sources?

My CCTV record files , is written on <remote data> folder in drive H in my windows xp. When I use the common password protect softwares to protect that folder , it disables the write access so my CCTV program warns me " can not write in specified folder" . Is there any free software that I can put password on that folder for preventing it from being deleted without limiting the write access?

Every time i try to open my browser it just takes me to the screen that says activate and continue without XP home security. I click continue and it takes me to another browser that says you are in trouble of viruses something like that then it says i can install it or continue i click continue and it takes me right back to the same screen.

Ive got the camera and the reciever for the camera, but what else would i need to hook the reciever up to the laptop? It doesnt have any AVI slots? is there a AVI to USB converter?

I have a Receiver, DVD player, DVR/Satellite Tuner, TV. Whats the best way to connect all of these? Is there an advantage to connecting video inputs to the receiver or is it better to connect the video inputs directly to the TV and the audio inputs to the receiver?
