I have those surveillance cameras you get off ebay. With Infrared lights at night. But I have one of these cameras behind a sheet of plexiglass. I am considering cutting a hole and put the camera in front of the plexi.

But is there any other way ? Can I coat the plexi with something?

If i put up an infrared CCTV system, can people outside see either a light beam, or the LED’s? If for example, i wanted to put night vision CCTV inside, would i be able to see the red LED’s glowing? as i have seen night vision CCTV with red LED’s around the lens.
